Submissions are now open for WRiTEON's next series of staged readings. Submission to Naked Stage is open to members of WRiTEON at no additional charge, and to others at a fee of £10 per submission. We are looking for;

Previously unperformed plays of up to one hour in length. There is no minimum length. We will also consider full length plays on a case by case basis. 
Plays may use up to five actors only (dual roles are acceptable).
All genres will be considered.
Plays must be submitted in an appropriate playscript format.
Please include a title page with title of the piece, your name, contact details, and membership number, a brief blurb for the piece, and a character breakdown.


You may become a member of WRiTEON at any time for an annual fee of £15. Membership renews in May.

Improvisation/Theatre Games

10 weeks beginning 18 May, 7.30 pm, £7 per session

Improvisation is a challenging but very enjoyable way to grow as an actor or writer. If you are interested in having a go, join WRiTEON's ongoing Theatre Games workshop. No experience is required and the existing group contains people at all levels from complete beginner to professional performer. The sessions are active and stimulating and a big laugh and the group very friendly and welcoming.

Casual improvisors will be welcome on the new course for £7 per session.

Laura Watson is a playwright and TV script writer with credits on EastEnders and Casualty. A warm and gifted young teacher, she also runs a popular and accessible scriptwriting course in Newmarket.This hands on introduction to the special requirements of television scriptwriting will inspire and inform.
