WRiTEON is a Cambridge-based group that stages rehearsed readings of new drama, enabling writers to develop their work and offering actors and directors opportunities to bring new material to life on stage for the first time. We also run workshops on writing, acting, directing and performance improvisation and hold a regular feedback group for scripts in progress.
MaD (Monologues and Duologues) 2015
One or two characters in search of an audience. Treat yourself to four evenings of distinctive new drama. This ever-popular WRiTEON event runs over four Sundays, with a different programme of four or more pieces for one or two actors, each week. As an audience member, you’ll have the opportunity to give your feedback on the scripts. The plays are short (up to 20 minutes each) and are performed script-in-hand by our team of talented actors.
“The feedback on the night was very helpful and encouraging” (Writer)
“Love all the stuff WRiTEON do, proud to part of it.” (Actor)
“ I think the range of activities and opportunities that WRiTEON is currently offering is rich and impressive.” (Writer)
