First Stage Autumn 2019
That’s right, this Autumn WRiTEON will be going back to our roots and bringing you another season of rehearsed readings! As always this season will consist of multiple evenings of script-in-hand readings with an opportunity for audience feedback. These evenings have always proven to be very popular and productive for the writers involved. This time, the event will take place over one weekend, on Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th November 2019 at The Golden Hind.
We had 25 submissions in total, which were anonymised and assessed by a panel of 6 readers. Congratulations to those whose scripts were selected, commiserations to those whose scripts were not, there was some tough competition.

The time-commitment will be quite low. You’d usually have 2 or 3 rehearsals before going on stage (because it is script-in-hand). Therefore it is a great way to flex your acting muscles and try out a new character without needing to do 3 months of rehearsals!
If you have any questions then you can contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please make sure that you arrive at Milton Road library in good time.
