Truly,
MAD-ly, Deeply:
Week
Two of WRiTEON's Monologues and Duologues Festival
We
have another cracking line-up for our second night of Monologues and
Duologues this Sunday. We're performing eight new short pieces, and
introducing six new writers never before seen in a WRiTEON programme.
The selection this week is ambitious, including family drama,
eloquent memoir, and wry commentary on the ways people work and play.
Book early to avoid disappointment!

Panel Discussion - The Cambridge Film-making Scene
Followed
by the WRiTEON AGM
Interested in working in film? Local film-makers David Clouter, Emily Blickem, Brendan Shepherd and Malcolm Greenhill will join us at B Bar on 1 July for a free one hour panel discussion on the local film-making scene, chaired by actor Robert Jezek, who himself has recently co-produced a short film in Cambridge. How can you get involved as a writer, actor or crew? What sort of scripts work for film and what sort of scripts are Cambridge film-makers looking for? If you have a script or idea already, how can you get it produced? And what happens to independently produced films once made? Arrive at 7.30 for a drink and networking - panel discussion is 8-9 and will be followed by the WRiTEON AGM.
This discussion is free but please book by writing to michelle@writeon.org.uk. For more information on Cambridge film-making, see www.cambridgefilmmakers.com
The WRiTEON AGM is your chance to have a say in how WRiTEON events are organised and what we do in the future. If you would like to stand for one of the WRiTEON offices of Chair, Secretary, or Treasurer, or wish to join the WRiTEON Committee, please write to michelle@writeon.org.uk.
