Party Party Party!!!

WRiTEON LUNCHTIME PARTY - THIS Sunday, 15th January  - from 12.00 noon - 63 Hinton Avenue, Cambridge CB1 7ARParty Food
Christmas may be well and truly over but WRiTEON has a fabulous antidote to the post-Christmas-blues. No scripts to write or lines to learn, just come as yourself. If you participated in any WRiTEON activity in 2011, whether as a writer, director, actor, sound/lighting operator, audience member, workshop leader/participant, improviser, feedback group member or you hope to do so this year, you are invited to reconnect with old friends and make new ones. Bring a plate/dish/packet of food to share (sweet or savoury) and a bottle of something to drink (soft or hard). There will be (optional) interactive games/quizzes. If you plan to attend, e-mail julia@writeon.org.uk or say "yes" to the facebook event

Photo of Tim FywellTelevision and film director, Tim Fywell takes aspiring film writers through their paces in this hands-on one day workshop on the process of writing for the big and/or small screen. The workshop will cover: What makes a script shine? How can  a writer produce "camera ready" scripts that potential producers will want to buy? What does a producer/director do with a script? What's the role of the script editor? How much detail should your script contain? What's the difference between a reading and a shooting script? Does the writer have a role in production?
