Green Pieces is a compilation of freshly-picked new drama, imaginatively staged, script-in-hand, by an ensemble company of local actors.
Following the success of last summer’s Corpus Playroom Show, A Twist of Lemon, WRiTEON cultivates another bumper crop of short sharp plays. This year, our writers have been given the green light to write about anything from the green grass of home to the greenhouse effect or from green-eyed monsters to little green men.

Sun 27, Mon 28 July 2014 7pm in Corpus Playroom. Tickets (£7/£6) from corpusplayroom.com
This is a different style of show to our annual festival events in the ADC Bar in that:
- A more creative approach is taken to script interpretation. For example, scripts may be split or overlapped.
- An ensemble cast will play multiple roles, with the same simple set being shared by all the plays.
- There will be no audience feedback discussions.
The following scripts have been selected for performance (listed in alphabetical order).
Corner of Green Street by Alice Turner
Fifty Shades of Green by Richard Peoples
Green Piece by Michael Addlesee
